Rincon has chosen Cypress Hill - Roll It Up, Light It Up, Smoke It Up as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bret Hicken!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cesar Rincon!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Donatello Bradman and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Cesar Rincon has been cut.

Rincon pushes Hicken away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hicken gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Hicken has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bret Hicken overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Hicken stalks Rincon and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Rincon's face. Rincon staggers backwards, shaken.
Hicken comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Hicken jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.


That has opened up Cesar Rincon's cut even more.
Cesar Rincon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Hicken tries to land a leg kick but Rincon saw it coming and moves away.
Rincon takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Rincon throws a jab but it's blocked by Hicken.
Rincon drops his hands momentarily and Hicken takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hicken scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Hicken throws an overhand right that drops Rincon like a sack of potatoes! Hicken dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
