Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ralph Hard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kajun Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jackson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Hard tries to clinch up.
Hard will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
No luck for Jackson with that takedown attempt.
Hard tries to clinch but Jackson moves out of range.

Jackson looking to control but Hard is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

It looks like Ralph Hard has been cut.
Jackson prevents Hard from getting the reversal.
Hard regains half guard.
Jackson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hard. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jackson is looking for a kimura but Hard is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Jackson to get the leverage.
Jackson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hard's head.
Hard pushes Jackson off looking to stand but Jackson dives back in and keeps control.

Hard won't allow Jackson to pass to mount.

Hard wants to stand and escape but Jackson is having none of it.

Hard kicks Jackson off and gets to his feet.
Hard throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jackson's waist but Jackson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hard off to one side.
Hard gets caught flat footed, as Jackson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Hard is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hard had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Jackson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hard Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Jackson's back instead.

Hard has his arm under Jackson's chin here. Game over son! Hard squeezes tightly and Jackson is forced to tap out!
