Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Prolly Rain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Redof Castro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Redof Castro!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Glass and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castro fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rain avoids it really well and circles away.

Castro drives through with a takedown into guard.

Castro wants to control from the top but Rain keeps moving.
Castro throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Rain throws his legs up looking for a submission but Castro uses it to pass to side control.

Castro goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Rain has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Castro but great work by Rain.

Rain with a poor takedown

and Castro counters with a shoot takedown. Rain fights it but they end up in guard.

Rain drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rain jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Castro shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Rain manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Castro uses his free foot to push down on Rain's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Rain.

Castro is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Rain has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Rain!

Castro can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Rain controls the pace.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Rain is desperately trying to improve his position but Castro has a good base and remains in mount.

Redof Castro showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

Castro is taking a breather. Rain says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Rain is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Castro's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Castro's back!

Castro might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Rain kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
