Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hugh Honey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Ferrall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ferrall has chosen Megadeth's Symphony of Destruction as his entrance music. Scott Ferrall will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Honey goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Ferrall slips a jab from Honey.
Honey bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Ferrall takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Honey misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Honey throws a jab but it's blocked by Ferrall.
Honey throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ferrall sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Honey misses with the combination.
Honey misses with a straight left.
Honey connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Honey blocks the body kick.
Honey fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Honey takes a swing at Ferrall's ribcage but misses.

Ferrall shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Honey's guard.
Honey has control of Ferrall's left arm, preventing Ferrall from doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ferrall postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Ferrall is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Honey sees it coming and defends easily.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

and Ferrall counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Honey lands a knee to the head.
Ferrall stalls.
Still in the clinch, Honey scores with a nice short uppercut.

Ferrall lands a takedown into guard.
Honey seems keen to control Ferrall's posture.
Honey looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Ferrall wants to control from the top but Honey keeps moving.
Honey is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Ferrall throwing strikes but missing.

Honey manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Ferrall regains half guard.
Honey seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ferrall does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Ferrall manages to get to full guard.
Honey might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

A close round but Scott Ferrall will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Honey tries to bum rush Ferrall with a series of wild strikes but Ferrall uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Honey lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Ferrall backs up against the cage.
Ferrall fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Honey on the side of the head.
Ferrall fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Ferrall has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Ferrall there as he acknowledges the shot.
Ferrall lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

and Honey counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Honey is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

and Ferrall counters with a straight right hand.
Honey throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Ferrall colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Honey as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Ferrall is left battered and dazed whilst Honey and his camp cheer!
