The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Althea slips a jab and a cross from Dyrdrek.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Dyrdrek tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dyrdrek has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Althea tries to bench press Dyrdrek off him but Dyrdrek keeps the position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Althea gets back to half guard.
Dyrdrek is trying to control the action in half guard but Althea is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

A close second round but Alexandros Althea will probably get the nod - 10:9.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Althea pulls Dyrdrek in close to prevent any damage.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

and Dyrdrek counters with a single leg into guard. Althea didn't expect that.
Althea manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dyrdrek manages to get himself to full guard.

Dyrdrek is trying to keep Althea in close.
Althea must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Dyrdrek is really struggling to control Althea but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Dyrdrek is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Althea defends well.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
