I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Lucio Palhares was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Palhares swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sandelos misses with a body kick.
Palhares on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Sandelos. Sandelos obviously looking to wear him down.
Palhares misses with a two punch combination.
Sandelos throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

It looks like Lucio Palhares has been cut.
Palhares fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sandelos manages to avoid it.
Sandelos lands a front kick.
Palhares avoids the head kick by Sandelos.
Palhares misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Sandelos moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Jonathan Sandelos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Palhares looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sandelos feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Palhares's calf.

Sandelos creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Palhares's defenses.

Sandelos gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Sandelos connects with a knee to the head.

Sandelos drops Palhares with a big knee straight up the middle! Palhares is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
