PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Dino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dino might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to RAWR. Sanchez has chosen Naughty by Nature - O.P.P. as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sanchez moves into the clinch.

Horrible takedown by Sanchez or perhaps it was just good defense by Dino which made him look bad.

Dino stands up over Sanchez, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Dino jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Dino keeps Sanchez at a distance using the push kick.

Dino closes the distance and clinches.
Sanchez tries to pull guard but Dino holds him up against the cage and eventually Sanchez drops back down to his feet.
Sanchez goes for a takedown in the clinch but Dino prevents it.

Dino breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Dino shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sanchez's guard.

Dino is just content to waste time from the top position. Sanchez takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Dino stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sanchez swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Sanchez throws a push kick but Dino slaps the foot to one side.
Dino throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Sanchez counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Sanchez is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Anderson Dino.
Well Dino has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
