Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ivica Andric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matthew Kurose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andric comes into the arena with La Voix blaring out of the sound system. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ivica Andric!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Matthew Kurose!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andric throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kurose takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Kurose shoots in for a takedown but Andric shows good takedown defense.
Kurose takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Kurose shoots in and bounces Andric off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kurose accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Kurose is looking to work some ground and pound but Andric has wrist control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kurose has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Kurose is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Andric is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Andric has escaped and now he's on top!
Andric has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Kurose escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Andric gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Kurose looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Andric wanted to stand there but Kurose had control of the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Andric preventing the sweep.
Andric wants to stand and escape but instead Kurose has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Kurose looking to pass the guard.
Kurose trying to control but Andric is working from the bottom.
Kurose with a flurry of punches that miss.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Andric wants to stand up but Kurose is controlling him.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Kurose throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Andric's waist but Andric gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kurose off to one side.
Andric scores with a body shot.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kurose.
Ivica Andric has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matthew Kurose.

Kurose looks gassed!

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Nice takedown defense from Andric. No joy for Kurose on that attempt.

That was a close round but I would say that Ivica Andric will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Andric throws a series of strikes that have Kurose backpedaling.

Andric lunges at Kurose with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kurose's hand.
Kurose misses with a looping left.
Andric connects with a right hand. Kurose shakes it off.

Andric really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Andric fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Kurose is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Andric connects with a crisp jab.
Andric is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Kurose has a takedown stuffed.
Andric wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Andric thuds a left hand into Kurose's body.
Andric connects with a right hand. Kurose shakes it off.
Andric scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kurose doesn't seem bothered though.
Kurose walks into a jab.
Andric lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Kurose can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Andric and Kurose drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Andric.
