Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Curtis Fresh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and KING KONG (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). KING KONG is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
KONG scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from KONG.
Curtis Fresh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fresh keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Fresh paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Fresh throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Fresh fakes high and swings low for a body shot but KONG manages to avoid it.
Fresh lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Fresh tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but KONG paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Fresh lands a left and a right that send KONG crashing to the mat, dazed. Fresh thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

KONG pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Fresh fails with an attempt to clinch.
KONG seems to have recovered his senses.

Fresh misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
KONG shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Fresh swats away the attempt to clinch by KONG.

KONG fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Fresh, pushing him back against the cage.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Fresh.

Fresh is pressed up against the cage. KONG has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Fresh down to the mat. Fresh avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Fresh blocks a head kick by KONG.
KONG throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Fresh throws a head kick that misses.
KONG throws a solid leg kick but Fresh takes the impact on his shin and smiles at KONG.

Fresh comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
KONG looks gassed!

A left and a right from Fresh both land. Nice combination.
Fresh throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Fresh is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

KONG closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
KONG has Fresh pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Fresh manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
KONG has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Fresh avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Curtis Fresh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of KING KONG.

KONG tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Fresh smiles and moves away.

A frustrated look appears on Fresh's face as he tries to break the clinch.
KONG prevents Fresh from breaking the clinch.

Fresh escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Fresh connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt KONG! He's out on his feet! Fresh rushes in and drops KONG with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
