Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Blasko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tom Long!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blasko darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Long tries to roll over but Blasko keeps him under control.
Long is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Blasko's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Blasko's back!
Long looks gassed!
Blasko is trying to get back to his feet but Long has full control of the position and if anything, Blasko has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Long is trying to stick to Blasko's back but Blasko is turning into Long. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Long's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Blasko.
Blasko has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Long is proving hard to escape from.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Long looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Blasko stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Long shoots and misses
so Blasko counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Blasko knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Long on the ground.
Blasko passes Long's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Long gets back to full guard.
Long looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Long has his foot on Blasko's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Blasko works his way back into a safe position though.
Long is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Blasko with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Blasko wants to stand but Long has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Long working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Blasko has passed into half guard!

Blasko avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Long keeping busy on the bottom but Blasko has passed one foot through into half guard.
Long makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Long.
Long is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Blasko with a flurry of punches that miss.

Long has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Blasko should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Long has tightened it up now! Blasko should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
