The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dong shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Dong is trying to control the action in half guard but Koivunen is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Dong is pressing down on Koivunen's thigh, looking to free his foot. Koivunen is holding on for now.
Dong thows a huge punch but Koivunen dodges it nicely.
Koivunen wants to get back to full guard.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Koivunen has eaten all the pies!
Dong is tying to control. Koivunen wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Dong wants to work for an arm triangle but Koivunen is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Dong is breathing heavily.

Dong moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Koivunen.
Koivunen tries to buck Dong off but Dong is having none of it.

Koivunen seems a little lost for a moment, as Dong dominates the positioning.

Dong tries to advance to mount but can't.
Koivunen is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Dong has just dragged him back down to the mat.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dong wants to free his trapped foot but Koivunen is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Dong scores with a takedown into Koivunen's guard.
Dong pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Koivunen is keeping the position for now.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Koivunen can't keep his opponent in guard - Dong advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Koivunen tries to roll over but Dong keeps him under control.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Dong in particular looking to stall.

Dong looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Dong is just content to waste time from the top position. Koivunen takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dong advances to half guard.

Koivunen is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Dong pulls his head out easily.
Koivunen wants to get back to full guard but Dong has mounted him!

Koivunen tries to improve his position but Dong has taken his back! Dong has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Koivunen tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Dong pushes Koivunen away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
