The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

DeSimone closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - DeSimone lands in his opponent's guard.

DeSimone is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hua doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time DeSimone.

DeSimone is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Hua has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Hua!

DeSimone shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hua manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

DeSimone drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hua looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hua looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hua!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

DeSimone changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hua looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

No joy there for Hua, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Hua takes one to the side of the head.
DeSimone shoots in but no luck this time.
Hua throws a hook to the side of DeSimone's head but DeSimone sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
DeSimone is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Hua.
Hua throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by DeSimone.
Hua will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
DeSimone tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Hua throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

DeSimone shoots in and bounces Hua off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Hua wants to control but DeSimone passes easily into half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

DeSimone with the ground and pound but Hua uses the opportunity to regain guard.
DeSimone stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hua swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hua isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. DeSimone stacks Hua on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by DeSimone!
