Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Manuel Espero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and milan stan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Summer Carpenter and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Espero lands a jab-cross combination.
Espero cracks the inside of stan's front leg.
stan tries to clinch there but Espero circles away.
stan moves into the clinch.
stan tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
stan throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Esperos head.

Espero drops to a knee looking for a takedown but stan gets the underhooks and prevents it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Espero wants to control from the top but stan keeps moving.
stan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Espero is really struggling to control stan but he's trying to hold on to the position.

stan is nestled in close to Espero, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

milan stan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

stan throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Espero lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
stan shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
stan slips a nice elbow through Espero's hands, connecting with Espero's forehead.
Espero has hold of stan's hands but stan slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Espero regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from stan.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Espero is looking to stand up but stan isn't so interested in that idea.
