Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pekka Heino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Deiter Myers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Heino kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Caesars - Jerk It Out. Deiter Myers has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heino connects with a looping right hand.

It looks like Deiter Myers has been cut.

Myers drives through and clinches with Heino against the cage.
Myers tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Myers decides to pull guard.
Heino trying to control the position from guard on top but Myers is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Myers striking off his back but it's not causing Heino any problems.
Heino trying to control but Myers is working from the bottom.
Myers lands a decent shot there.
Heino will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Myers has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Heino can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Heino tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Heino has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Heino has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Myers is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Heino yanks on the arm and Myers is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Heino.
