Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Danny Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paola Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Paulo Santos and Thiago Cunha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza misses with a takedown attempt - Williams sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Nice takedown defense from Souza. No joy for Williams on that attempt.

so Williams counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Souza tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Souza manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Williams is working to get back to half guard.
Souza wants to control the pace but Williams is squirming around nicely.
BOOM! Souza connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Souza has hold of Williams's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Williams manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Williams tries to reverse the position but Souza maintains control.

Williams has left one of his arms exposed and Souza doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Williams screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
