Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Garet Jax (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leroy McDoogin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Bruno Hogan and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDoogin connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jax's hands.
McDoogin lands a nice looking kick to the body. Jax takes a step back to recover.
Jax shoots in for a double leg but McDoogin sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
McDoogin lands a jab.

Jax takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
McDoogin thuds his shin into the meat of Jax's side.
McDoogin scores with a push kick.
McDoogin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jax circles away quickly and effectively.

Jax stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McDoogin swivels though and keeps the full guard.

McDoogin is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jax defends well.

McDoogin is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jax is aware though and is defending well.
Jax lands a couple of digs.
McDoogin striking off his back but it's not causing Jax any problems.
McDoogin can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jax controls the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jax is pushing down on McDoogin's leg trying to pass to half guard. McDoogin is fighting to maintain full guard but Jax has managed to sneak the leg through.

McDoogin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jax can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Jax wants to control from the top but McDoogin keeps moving.
Jax works a leg free and moves into half guard.
McDoogin is not content to let Jax control the position.
McDoogin wants to improve his position but Jax is controlling well.
Jax thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed McDoogin's head.

A close round but Leroy McDoogin will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Jax closes the distance and clinches.
McDoogin wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jax has him pressed against the cage.

Jax has dropped down and is working for a takedown. McDoogin is trying to keep an underhook but Jax manages to get the takedown into half guard.
McDoogin won't allow Jax to pass to mount.
Jax is trying to control. McDoogin wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

McDoogin has one foot on Jax's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
McDoogin thows a body kick. Jax tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Jax takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Jax closes this distance looking for a takedown but McDoogin circles away.
Leroy McDoogin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

McDoogin looks to land a body kick but Jax moved away.

Jax shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Jax got a little sloppy there for a moment and McDoogin has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jax has managed to get both his arms back between McDoogin's legs - danger averted.

McDoogin is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jax pulls his head out easily.
Jax looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks McDoogin with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

McDoogin pushes Jax off and gets back to his feet.
No joy there for McDoogin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Garet Jax is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jax checks a low kick from McDoogin.
A combination from McDoogin does no damage.
McDoogin stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and McDoogin wants it to stay on the feet.
McDoogin lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Jax slips under a jab from McDoogin.
McDoogin buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
McDoogin throws a series of strikes that have Jax backpedaling.
Jax tries to clinch up but McDoogin circles away and keeps his distance.

Jax wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by McDoogin, who protects the arm well.
Jax prevents McDoogin from escaping the position.
McDoogin is trying to improve his position.
Jax in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Garet Jax overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McDoogin tries to bench press Jax off him but Jax keeps the position.

Garet Jax dominated that second round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!

McDoogin wants to slow Jax down by chopping away at his legs.

Jax drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Jax postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for McDoogin to stand up.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by McDoogin.

Jax shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Jax chips away with some ground and pound.

McDoogin has hold of Jax's hands but Jax slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

McDoogin tries to buck Jax off but he can't manage it.
Jax wants to control the pace but McDoogin is squirming around nicely.

Jax is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, McDoogin has managed to escape the submission attempt.
