Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Victor Kovas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zeljko Poutintsev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kovas comes to the cage accompanied by Bankrobber by The Clash . Poutintsev has chosen punainen lokakuu as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poutintsev defending well as Kovas loads up on a big left hand.
Kovas misses with a hook.
Victor Kovas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kovas throws a hook but Poutintsev blocks it.
Kovas throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Poutintsev sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Kovas throws a right and a left that Poutintsev avoids nicely.

A looping hook to the body misses from Kovas. Poutintsev does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Poutintsev makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Kovas swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Victor Kovas will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Zeljko Poutintsev's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Kovas lands a left and a right that send Poutintsev crashing to the mat, dazed. Kovas thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Kovas swings away with a body shot that misses
and Poutintsev counters with a straight right hand.
Kovas jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Poutintsev has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Poutintsev is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Poutintsev drops his hands momentarily. Kovas doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Poutintsev staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Poutintsev doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Victor Kovas!
