The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joe fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt McTwist.
Joe looks for a takedown but McTwist sprawls well.

Joe has control of McTwist's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and McTwist regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Joe lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if McTwist can do anything to dispel that myth.

McTwist really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Joe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Joe is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. McTwist is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. McTwist flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Joe anticipates the leg and manages to get behind McTwist and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Joe slips an arm under McTwist chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Joe has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Joe is squeezing on McTwist like an anaconda would it's prey. McTwist fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
