Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rod Pucak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and mike my weiner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rod Pucak has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rod Pucak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, mike my weiner!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Hugh Johnson and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from my weiner. No joy for Pucak on that attempt.

and Pucak counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Pucak drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pucak jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Pucak decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

my weiner is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Pucak's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Pucak's back!

Pucak wants to control his opponent's hands but my weiner gets his hands free.
my weiner is trying to stick to Pucak's back but Pucak is turning into my weiner. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in my weiner's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Pucak.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if my weiner can do anything to dispel that myth.
my weiner is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Pucak had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. my weiner defends it easily.
my weiner must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

my weiner got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pucak has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, my weiner has managed to get both his arms back between Pucak's legs - danger averted.

Pucak is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and my weiner defends well.

my weiner should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Pucak has his foot on my weiner's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. my weiner works his way back into a safe position though.

Pucak is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now my weiner is on top in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

A close round but mike my weiner will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Pucak closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming my weiner to the mat! my weiner manages to get full guard.
my weiner is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Pucak is controlling him.
my weiner lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Pucak!
Pucak is wriggling around trying to escape.
my weiner has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Pucak's face.

Pucak is squirming around, avoiding my weiner's attempts to control the action.
Pucak is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

my weiner lands a big shot there that rocks Pucak but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pucak is on top in guard.

Pucak drops back looking for a leg! my weiner is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and my weiner manages to kick Pucak off! Pucak jumps back into my weiner's guard.
my weiner wants to sweep here but Pucak controlling him for the moment.
Pucak postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

mike my weiner showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Pucak thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Pucak stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. my weiner swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Well my weiner has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
