The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor fails to land with a series of punches.
Taylor's corner calls for a 1-2. Taylor obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Taylor misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Taylor misses with a double jab.
Taylor lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ciechan circles away quickly and effectively.

Taylor throws a right and a left that both miss.

Taylor slaps away a takedown attempt from Ciechan, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Taylor throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Taylor tries to bum rush Ciechan with a series of wild strikes but Ciechan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Ciechan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Taylor sprawls well. Taylor wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ciechan gets slowly back to his feet.
Ciechan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Taylor circles away.
Taylor throws a right and a left that Ciechan avoids nicely.
No joy there for Taylor, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Taylor throws a body punch but Ciechan moves out of range.
Ciechan closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Taylor to the mat! Taylor manages to get full guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ciechan thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Taylor wants to stand up but Ciechan is controlling him.
Ciechan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ciechan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Ciechan wants to control from the top but Taylor keeps moving.
Taylor can't keep his opponent in guard - Ciechan advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Ciechan thows a huge punch but Taylor dodges it nicely.
Ciechan has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Taylor defend it? Ciechan steps over the head and cranks it - Taylor is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Ciechan!
