The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGruber misses with a two punch combination.

Hopkins closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

McGruber lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
McGruber smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

McGruber fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hopkins, pushing him back against the cage.
Hopkins is still on wobbly legs! Can McGruber finish him?

McGruber breaks from the clinch.
Hopkins seems to have recovered his senses.
McGruber misses with a jab, cross combination.
McGruber throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

McGruber darts in and clinches Hopkins up against the cage.

McGruber breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

McGruber drops Hopkins with a beautiful combination! Hopkins stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - McGruber is looking for the KO!
McGruber drops Hopkins with a straight right hand, right on the button! McGruber follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
