Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alfredo Gomez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gomez has chosen Big Pimpin as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomez will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Clark throws a head kick but Gomez moves out of range.
Clark misses with a few strikes there.
Clark throws out a powerful jab.
Clark throws a head kick that misses.
Clark misses with a kick to the body.
Clark lands with a shot to the body.
Gomez looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Gomez moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Gomez fails to land the takedown.
Ryan Clark has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alfredo Gomez.
Clark avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Clark keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Clark dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Gomez shoots for a double leg takedown but Clark sprawls well. He's pushed Gomez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Clark's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Gomez misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Gomez shoots in looking for a takedown. Clark tries to sprawl out of it but Gomez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Clark manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Clark connects with a good right hand that stumbles Gomez. Gomez circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Gomez is rocked!
Clark is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Gomez flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Gomez is out cold! Clark holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
