PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Tucker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Junior tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tucker sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Junior somewhat.
Tucker lands a nice shot to the body.
Junior is breathing heavily.
Tucker moves into range and connects with a jab.

It looks like Thiago Junior has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Tucker steps into range and cracks Junior with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Junior flops backwards and Tucker dives into his guard looking to finish!

Junior is rocked!
Tucker is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Oh Junior is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tucker advances position into side control!
Junior seems to have got his legs back now.
Tucker lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Junior down.
Tucker looks up at the clock and then as Junior takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Tucker smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Thiago Junior's cut is getting worse.
Tucker has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Junior!

Tucker is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Junior is surviving well by controlling Tucker's body position as best he can.
Junior is working to get back to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Tucker is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Junior to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Junior shrugs it off.
Junior can't escape the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tucker in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Jeez, Thiago Junior's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Thiago Junior's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
