The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stenmark looks to throw the jab but Luiz is out of range.
Stenmark fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Stenmark throws an overhand right that lands on Luiz's shoulder, as Luiz tries to avoid the shot.
Luiz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Stenmark swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Luiz displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Stenmark throws out the jab.

Stenmark shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Stenmark works his foot free and advances to mount.
Luiz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stenmark. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Luiz tries to lock up and control but Stenmark gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
