These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wright doesn't manage to clinch there - Nogueira circles away.
Nogueira tries to land a front kick but Wright steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Nogueira feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Wright's calf.
Nice takedown defense from Nogueira. No joy for Wright on that attempt.
Wright chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Nogueira can pounce on him.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Wright crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Nogueira - the referee stops the clock and Wright gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Nogueira. Wright manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
