Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mitchell Joseph!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chen Shui Bai!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Leandro Rodrigues and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shui Bai closes the distance and clinches up with Joseph, looking for a takedown. Shui Bai pushes Joseph against the cage but Joseph circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Joseph throws a head kick but Shui Bai moves out of range.
Joseph shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Shui Bai but Shui Bai pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Shui Bai shoots in and bounces Joseph off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Shui Bai wants to control from the top but Joseph keeps moving.
Shui Bai drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Shui Bai as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Joseph screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Shui Bai! Nice submission victory there!
