Eyre kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Domination by Pantera. Valuev has chosen TIMATI as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eyre shoots in and drives through. Valuev sprawls well.
Valuev swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Eyre takes one to the side of the head.

It looks like Martin Eyre has been cut.
Eyre steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Valuev.

Valuev drops Eyre with a beautiful combination! Eyre stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Valuev is looking for the KO!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The fighters circling - Valuev throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Valuev throws a nice looking combination but Eyre bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Valuev tries to bum rush Eyre with a series of wild strikes but Eyre uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Eyre takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Martin Eyre's cut is getting worse.
Valuev takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Valuev throws a hook but Eyre blocks it.
Eyre moves out of range as Valuev strikes.
Valuev scores with a jab to the jaw.

Martin Eyre's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Valuev swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Eyre shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Valuev as he jumps to the side.
Valuev throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Eyre sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Valuev missing with a left hand there. Eyre was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Left hook, right uppercut from Valuev.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Martin Eyre's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
