Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sam Burger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Ferreira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ferreira has chosen Voices as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferreira lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Burger looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Nice takedown defense from Ferreira. No joy for Burger on that attempt.
Burger really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Sam Burger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Burger rushes Ferreira and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Ferreira seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Despite being in the dominant position, Daniel Ferreira just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Ferreira shoots in looking for a takedown. Burger tries to sprawl out of it but Ferreira keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Burger manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Ferreira has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Burger's face.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
