PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Maipazong Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Jingles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Donatello Bradman and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jingles stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Jingles is looking to clinch but Lee is avoiding it.
Lee scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Jingles has managed to clinch.
Lee wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Jingles takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Jingles is trying to drag Lee to the mat but Lee just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Jingles feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Jingles shoots for a double leg takedown but Lee sprawls well. He's pushed Jingles's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
