Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hector Lombard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rene Shaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shaker has chosen AC/DC, Back in black as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaker tries to clinch up but Lombard circles away and keeps his distance.
Lombard blocks the body kick.
Shaker lands a head kick!
Lombard shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Shaker as he avoids it easily.
No luck for Lombard with that takedown attempt.
Shaker fails in his attempt to clinch.

Shaker moves into the clinch.

Lombard tightens his grip and picks Shaker up, before dumping him to the ground. Shaker manages to land in guard.

Shaker is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lombard is aware though and is defending well.

Lombard drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Shaker dives on top into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Shaker postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Lombard is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Shaker, into his guard.

Shaker escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lombard gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Lombard fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Lombard walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Shaker checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Horrible takedown by Lombard or perhaps it was just good defense by Shaker which made him look bad.
Shaker throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Shaker tries to close the distance and clinch but Lombard swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

It looks like Hector Lombard has been cut.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Shaker lands strikes from half guard.
Oh Lombard is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Shaker takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Shaker wants to take a breather but Lombard is having none of it.
