Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between julius thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Bengino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
thompson tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Bengino is able to avoid easily.
Bengino looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Bengino is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and thompson defends well.

thompson is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Bengino has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Bengino!
thompson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
