Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Claude Dorrante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Sims (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sims has chosen YMCA as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sims throws a shot from downtown. Dorrante moves away and avoids it.
Sims shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dorrante defends it nicely.
Dorrante defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sims.
Dorrante misses with a jab, cross combination.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Dorrante.

Sims tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dorrante swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Sims does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Sims takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Sims shoots for a double leg takedown but Dorrante sprawls well. He's pushed Sims's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Sims shoots in looking for a takedown. Dorrante tries to sprawl out of it but Sims keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dorrante manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
