Carlton comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Drake - Over kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look pumped up here. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts throws a series of punches but Carlton moves out of range.
Carlton looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Roberts tries to close the distance and clinch but Carlton swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Roberts will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Roberts showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Carlton.
Carlton misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Roberts fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Carlton checks it well.

Carlton shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Carlton was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Roberts breaks Carlton's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Roberts passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Roberts works to advance to full mount. Carlton defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Roberts takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Roberts lands a big head kick that sends Carlton tumbling to the mat! Roberts takes a step backwards and waves Carlton back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Roberts connects with a nice cross there... Carlton is looking wobbly and Roberts recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Carlton to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Roberts jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
