Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Craig Ownes!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ownes keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ownes leaves Minota with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Minota shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ownes napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Minota wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ownes keeps working.
Ownes really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Minota. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Minota working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Minota is looking to take a break and control but Ownes is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Ownes pushes Minota away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Minota gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Minota has an Americana. Ownes didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Minota is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Minota hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
