Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bill McBrody (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junie Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McBrody kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Get Back. Junie Silva has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Bill McBrody's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McBrody is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
McBrody looks to throw the jab but Silva is out of range.
McBrody misses with the combination.
Silva tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Silva throws a solid leg kick but McBrody takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Silva.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Silva shoots in looking for a takedown. McBrody tries to sprawl out of it but Silva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McBrody manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Silva bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of McBrody's head.
McBrody takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

McBrody throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Silva tries to land a front kick but McBrody steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Silva doesn't manage to clinch there - McBrody circles away.
Silva fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Bill McBrody has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Junie Silva.

Silva fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. McBrody sprawls well initially but Silva persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Silva is nestled in close to McBrody, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

and McBrody counters with a two punch combo.
Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McBrody tries to avoid it but Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McBrody to the ground. McBrody escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
McBrody throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
McBrody moves out of range of the body kick from Silva.
McBrody checks the leg kick nicely there.
McBrody changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
McBrody stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and McBrody wants it to stay on the feet.
McBrody is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Silva.

Silva shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McBrody as he jumps to the side.

A decent looking cross lands there for McBrody.

and McBrody makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Silva gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Silva's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
McBrody bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Silva's head.
McBrody cracks Silva with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
McBrody swings for the body but Silva moves out of range.
Silva shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as McBrody sprawls well. McBrody wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.
McBrody's corner calls for a 1-2. McBrody obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from McBrody lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Silva has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Silva and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That's time! McBrody's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but McBrody swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
McBrody ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Silva misses with a wild combination.
McBrody feints and then cracks Silva's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Silva down.
McBrody throws a lazy right hand but Silva sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Silva gets in close and instigates a clinch.
McBrody misses with a hook from the clinch.
McBrody misses with a punch on the inside.
McBrody has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Silva jumps guard.
McBrody trying to control the position from guard on top but Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
McBrody is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Silva is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silva tries to bench press McBrody off him but McBrody keeps the position.

Silva has gone for a leg lock! McBrody slips out almost immediately though and dives into Silva's guard.

Silva is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. McBrody is aware though and is defending well.
McBrody not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

McBrody slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

McBrody got a little sloppy there for a moment and Silva has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, McBrody has managed to get both his arms back between Silva's legs - danger averted.
Silva wants to sweep here but McBrody controlling him for the moment.

Silva has his foot on McBrody's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. McBrody works his way back into a safe position though.

I would just about give that final round to Junie Silva.
