Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Futcar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Robertson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Futcar's entrance music is No Remorse. A fine choice. Robertson has chosen Frontline by Pillar as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ivan Futcar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, William Robertson!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Futcar scores with a one two! Robertson had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.


It looks like William Robertson has been cut.
Futcar shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Robertson pinned against the cage. Robertson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Futcar connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Futcar with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Robertson fails with the takedown
and Futcar counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Robertson thinking.
Futcar fails with an attempt to clinch.

Futcar gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Futcar is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Futcar manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Robertson manages to get himself to full guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Futcar accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Robertson is controlling Futcar's posture.
Robertson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Futcar controls the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Robertson pushes Futcar off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Futcar digs a good body shot into Robertson's ribs.
Futcar throws a right hand that Robertson ducks under and follows up with a left that Robertson also avoids with ease.
Futcar thows a body shot but no joy.

Futcar shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Robertson's guard.
Robertson wants to sweep here but Futcar controlling him for the moment.
Futcar trying to control but Robertson is working from the bottom.
Futcar has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Robertson is proving hard to escape from.
Futcar loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Robertson keeping moving, preventing Futcar from controlling successfully.
Robertson looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Futcar wants to control from the top but Robertson keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Futcar will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Robertson.
Futcar regains half guard.
Robertson is controlling the pace.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Robertson in particular looking to stall.
Futcar is trying to control but can't.
Robertson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Futcar is trying to control but can't.
Futcar is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Futcar wants to control but Robertson is keeping busy.
Futcar is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Robertson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Robertson thows a huge punch but Futcar dodges it nicely.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Robertson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Futcar sprawls well initially but Robertson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Futcar has one foot on Robertson's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Futcar lands a nice hook to Robertson's body. Robertson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Futcar has managed to clinch.
Robertson has Futcar pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Futcar manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Robertson changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Futcar fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Ivan Futcar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of William Robertson.

Futcar darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Futcar wants to pass to mount but Robertson is defending the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Robertson makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Futcar drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Futcar's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Futcar has his feet on Robertson's thighs here. He's pushed Robertson off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Robertson screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
