Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amir Verdune (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Amir Verdune was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Verdune closes the distance and pushes Jenkins back into the cage.
Jenkins is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Verdune is defending well for now.

Verdune shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jenkins but Jenkins pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Horrible takedown by Verdune or perhaps it was just good defense by Jenkins which made him look bad.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jenkins slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Verdune chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jenkins can pounce on him.
Verdune shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jenkins sprawls well. Jenkins wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Verdune gets slowly back to his feet.
