Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mir Steven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hammer Mack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mack is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Elephant Man - Haters (feat Hunt & Jim Jones) . Hammer Mack is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mack will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Steven looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Mack clinches up with Steven and pushes him back against the cage.

Mack breaks the clinch.
Steven misses with a double jab
and Mack counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Steven thinking.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A nice inside leg kick there by Mack. That's going to slow Steven down.
Steven circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mack scores with a hook to the body. Steven takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Mack manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Mack's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Mack throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Steven.

It looks like Mir Steven has been cut.
Mack lands with a kick to the temple. Steven shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Mack cracks the inside of Steven's front leg.

Mack breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Mack throws a combination. Steven tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Mir Steven's cut is getting worse.

Mack throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hammer Mack is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mack fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Mack throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Steven.
Mack lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Steven keeps the fight on the outside.
Mack throws a right hand that Steven ducks under and follows up with a left that Steven also avoids with ease.

and Mack counters with a nice body shot.

Steven shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Mack counters by moving into the clinch.

Steven tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mack smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mir Steven. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mack throws a left and a right that both miss

and Steven counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mack wants to stand up but Steven is controlling him.
Steven trying to control but Mack is working from the bottom.

Mack looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Steven wants to control from the top but Mack keeps moving.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Mack connects with a solid leg kick.

Mack lands a left and a right that send Steven crashing to the mat, dazed. Mack thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

The fight stays on the outside here - Mack looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Mack is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Steven rather than just go for the knockout.

Steven tries to keep at a distance but Mack has taken the fight into the clinch.

Steven avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mack throws a series of punches but Steven avoids them all with ease.
Mack lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Steven circles away quickly and effectively.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

and Mack counters with a crisp one two that drops Steven! Mack thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Steven to his feet! Steven is in big trouble!

Mir Steven's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mir Steven's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
