PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johny Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Get Money Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Money Jr has chosen 50 cent when i come through as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bravo shoots in for a double leg but Money Jr sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

It looks like Get Money Jr has been cut.
Bravo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Money Jr is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Bravo dives into side control.
Money Jr is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Bravo asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Bravo tries to advance to mount but Money Jr denies him.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Bravo can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Money Jr is looking to escape.

Money Jr is looking to break free of the clinch but Bravo has double underhooks.
Money Jr tries to stall but Bravo uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Bravo seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.
Bravo has Money Jr pressed against the cage, preventing Money Jr from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Bravo has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Money Jr avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Money Jr has his foot on Bravo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bravo works his way back into a safe position though.

Money Jr escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bravo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Johny Bravo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Bravo tries to control but Money Jr wriggling away.
Money Jr's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Get Money Jr has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Johny Bravo is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bravo, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
