Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miladin Kovacevic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kelvin Redondo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kovacevic comes to the cage accompanied by .... Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Miladin Kovacevic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kelvin Redondo!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kovacevic throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Redondo.

Redondo gets a clinch.

Kovacevic breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kovacevic throws a series of punches but Redondo avoids them all with ease.
Kovacevic lands a right hook to the body.

Redondo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Redondo wants to stand up but Kovacevic is controlling the position.
Kovacevic controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
Kovacevic tries to get to full guard but Redondo has control of the leg.
Kovacevic regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Redondo.
Redondo wants to get up but he can't break Kovacevic's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kovacevic bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Redondo's guard.

Redondo is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kovacevic defends well.
Redondo wants to stand but Kovacevic is controlling the position.
Kovacevic is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Redondo has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Kovacevic off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Miladin Kovacevic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kovacevic leaves Redondo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kovacevic stuffs the takedown.
Crunch! Kovacevic slams his shin into Redondo's torso.
Miladin Kovacevic is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Redondo looks gassed!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kovacevic explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Kovacevic lands a slapping body shot.
Kovacevic changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Kovacevic connects with a good right hand that stumbles Redondo. Redondo circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Redondo takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Redondo takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
A cross from Kovacevic lands.

Kovacevic drops Redondo with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Redondo looks back up at him and smiles so Kovacevic waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Redondo is rocked!
Kovacevic throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Redondo crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
