Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Shimada and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santiago throws a half hearted mid kick.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Santiago. Diez shrugs it off though.
Santiago keeps the fight on the outside.
Diez shoots in for a takedown but Santiago shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Diez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Miguel Santiago seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Santiago lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Diez backs up against the ropes.

Good leg kick by Santiago there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Santiago fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Diez takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Santiago scores with a leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Diez takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Diez is rocked!
Santiago lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Diez can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Santiago and Diez drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Santiago.
