Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kelly Ganon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Romulo Correa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Correa has chosen Paranoid as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Romulo Correa!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Seu Braga and Matheus Silva.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ganon scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Ganon avoids the head kick by Correa.
Correa throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ganon's waist but Ganon gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Correa off to one side.
Correa looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ganon is fending him off so far but Correa persists. Nope, Ganon circles away and we're back to standing.
Ganon turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Correa fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Kelly Ganon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Romulo Correa.
Correa closes the distance and clinches up with Ganon, looking for a takedown. Correa pushes Ganon against the cage but Ganon circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Romulo Correa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ganon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Correa avoids the head kick by Ganon.
Ganon slaps away a takedown attempt from Correa, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Correa looks gassed!
Correa pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Ganon throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Both fighters circling a little - Ganon finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
