Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lewis O Reilly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). O Reilly comes to the cage accompanied by Pass out - Tinie Tempah. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Lewis O Reilly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Chris Hughes!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughes throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Hughes forces O Reilly back against the cage and clinches.
Hughes avoiding damage.
O Reilly tries to pull guard but Hughes won't allow it.
Hughes prevents a takedown attempt there.
O Reilly can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lewis O Reilly. That's going to take a lot out of him.
O Reilly taking a breather.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Hughes.
Nice body punch from Hughes.
O Reilly jumps guard but Hughes stands there with O Reilly around his waist. O Reilly gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Hughes decides to pull guard.

Hughes is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
O Reilly content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Hughes has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Hughes manages to break the clinch.

Hughes closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hughes is struggling to control the position.
O Reilly is trying to drag Hughes to the mat but Hughes just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
O Reilly fails to pull the fight into his guard.
O Reilly wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
O Reilly tries to stall but Hughes uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Hughes has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Hughes manages to break the clinch.
Hughes moves in looking to clinch but O Reilly pushes him off.
Hughes throws a right and a left that O Reilly avoids nicely.

O Reilly darts in and clinches Hughes up against the cage.

Hughes manages to break the clinch.
Hughes throws a right and a left that both miss.
O Reilly connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hughes momentarily.
Hughes lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but O Reilly circles away quickly and effectively.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
O Reilly throws a head kick that misses.

Hughes moves into range and clinches up with O Reilly.

Hughes pulls guard successfully.
O Reilly trying to control but Hughes is working from the bottom.
O Reilly slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
O Reilly tries to stand but Hughes is controlling from the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hughes has his hands on O Reilly's head, controlling the position.
Hughes wants to hit a switch here but O Reilly passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Hughes there!
O Reilly landing shots from mount.
Hughes is looking to improve his position but O Reilly isn't that keen on the idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

O Reilly goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Hughes turns into him and now he's in O Reilly's guard.
O Reilly is breathing heavily.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hughes working some strikes from top position.

Hughes is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! O Reilly is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! O Reilly has escaped and now he's on top!
O Reilly missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chris Hughes dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


No luck for O Reilly with that takedown attempt.
O Reilly seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Hughes shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! O Reilly is backing up but Hughes catches him with a final right hook that drops him! O Reilly covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Hughes Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chris Hughes!
