Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Christian Holtz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holtz changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Noulin tries to avoid it but Holtz manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Noulin to the ground. Noulin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Noulin shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Noulin showed some decent athleticism there.
Holtz wants to get back to his feet.
Noulin landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Noulin throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Holtz wants to improve his position but Noulin is controlling well.
Noulin misses with a head shot. Holtz uses the momentum to regain guard.
Noulin throws and elbow that misses. Holtz uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Noulin's guard. Nice move by Holtz!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Noulin is trying to keep Holtz in close.

Holtz loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Holtz connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Noulin's hands.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Noulin is defended easily by Holtz.
Noulin misses with a takedown attempt - Holtz sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Holtz throws a series of punches but Noulin avoids them all with ease.

Noulin is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Holtz gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Holtz looking to hit a scissor sweep but Noulin is one step ahead there.
Holtz manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Noulin manages to get himself to full guard.

That's time! Holtz's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Holtz moves into range and clinches up with Noulin.
Holtz works on Noulin's body with a couple of short punches.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Holtz takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Holtz is working Noulin over against the cage.

Holtz ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Holtz no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Holtz controls Noulin momentarily but Noulin frees himself.
Holtz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Holtz is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Noulin tries to roll over but Holtz keeps him under control.
Noulin is breathing heavily.

Holtz's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Holtz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Noulin keeps working.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Holtz stalling.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Holtz lands a nice short elbow.
Noulin is looking for a sweep. Holtz is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Holtz seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Christian Holtz just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Holtz forces Noulin back against the cage and clinches.
Noulin is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Holtz gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Holtz pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Holtz lands a jab-cross combination.
Noulin has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Noulin is rocked!
Holtz drops Noulin with a naaaaasty hook - Noulin is in real trouble here! Holtz dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
