The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown tries to clinch up.
Vandam looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Vandam misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Brown lands with a good body shot.
Vandam takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Brown lands a slapping body shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Brown scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Vandam takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Vandam doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Brown pushes Vandam up against the cage in a clinch.

Brown lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Vandam.

Brown ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Brown no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Vandam has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Brown to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Vandam is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Brown pulls down on the head and he's put Vandam to sleep! This one is all over!
