Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Puiu Ciprian Micu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jamsha gonzales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Micu might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Day Three: Pain. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Wagner Zegers and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by gonzales or perhaps it was just good defense by Micu which made him look bad.
gonzales looks for a takedown but Micu sprawls well.
jamsha gonzales seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Micu shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Micu works a leg free and moves into half guard.
gonzales is looking to control Micu's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can gonzales avoid being mounted?
gonzales is looking for a sweep. Micu is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Micu shoots in for a takedown but gonzales shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Micu postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Micu looks up at the clock and then as gonzales takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Micu smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Micu is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by gonzales.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

gonzales is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

gonzales lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by gonzales.
gonzales is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Micu connects with a nice short shot to gonzales's temple.

gonzales is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Micu is aware though and is defending well.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, gonzales just misses with a elbow thrown towards Micu's brow.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

and Micu moves into the clinch.

gonzales tries to work over Micu's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Micu goes for a takedown attempt but gonzales pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

gonzales throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
