Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from syrjala misses.
syrjala wants to clinch up but Myers keeps it at a distance.
Myers lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Myers throws a right and a left that syrjala avoids nicely.
syrjala tries to close the distance and clinch up but Myers swats him away and circles back towards the center.

syrjala swings wildly with an uppercut but Myers uses good head movement to avoid it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Myers's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Myers changes levels and goes for a takedown here. syrjala fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Myers throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as syrjala works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Myers controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Let's hope that Myers has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

syrjala wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Myers manages to pass to side control.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Myers moves nicely into side control.
Myers wants to control but syrjala is keeping him busy.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Myers is trying to get an arm triangle but syrjala is defending well.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well Myers has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
