Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stretch Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Agnem Klotzk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Klotzk has chosen Weisse Wolfe- Ruhm und Ehre as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Agnem Klotzk acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Klotzk looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Armstrong punching from the bottom.
Klotzk is thwarting Armstrong's attempts to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Klotzk postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Armstrong is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Klotzk, into his guard.

Klotzk had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Armstrong is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Klotzk Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Armstrong's back instead.

Klotzk is not going to allow Armstrong to sit and survive in this position.
Armstrong needs to remain patient if he's going to get out of this sticky situation.
Klotzk doesn't have the hooks in and Armstrong manages to turn into his guard.
Armstrong is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Klotzk is working an open guard so Armstrong takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

and Armstrong counters with a nice double leg into side control. Klotzk won't be happy with that.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Klotzk makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Klotzk.

Armstrong gets to his feet - Klotzk follows without any prompting.

Klotzk wants to hit a switch here but Armstrong passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Klotzk there!

Armstrong takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Armstrong escapes and gets back to his feet.
Klotzk misses with a takedown

and Armstrong holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Klotzk can't get the takedown.
Stretch Armstrong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Agnem Klotzk.

Armstrong breaks from the clinch.
Klotzk moves forwards but Armstrong connects with a nice, crisp jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Armstrong scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Klotzk doesn't seem bothered though.
Armstrong moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Armstrong seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Armstrong is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Klotzk is trying to get back to full guard.
Armstrong looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Klotzk is breathing heavily.

Klotzk is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Armstrong is working for a submission of some sort.

Klotzk has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Armstrong escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Armstrong!

Armstrong is working to tighten is grip on Klotzk's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Klotzk has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Armstrong is really squeezing tight and eventually Klotzk passes out! Armstrong breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
