Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jens Lehmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lukasz Szymanski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lukasz Szymanski is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Lukasz Szymanski!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Konstantin Menshow and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Szymanski misses with a body shot.

Szymanski tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lehmann was well out of range. Poor timing from Szymanski.
Lehmann looks to land a left hand but Szymanski moved out of range nicely.
Lehmann throws a nice looking combination but Szymanski bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Lehmann rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Szymanski moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Lehmann throws a right hand that Szymanski ducks under and follows up with a left that Szymanski also avoids with ease.
Lehmann is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Szymanski.
Lehmann throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Szymanski sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Lehmann misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lehmann rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Szymanski moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Szymanski throws out a powerful jab.
Szymanski throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lehmann.

Szymanski throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Szymanski cracks a nice hook into Lehmann's ribs.

Szymanski ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

and Szymanski counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lehmann won't be happy with that.
Lehmann is breathing heavily.

Szymanski has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The strikes coming from Szymanski are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Szymanski lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Lehmann down.
Szymanski wants to control but Lehmann is keeping him busy.

Szymanski thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Szymanski remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Szymanski wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lehmann keeps working.

Szymanski might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Lehmann kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Szymanski is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Szymanski has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Szymanski with a couple of short strikes.
Szymanski thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Lehmann tries to lock up and control but Szymanski gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Szymanski connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Lehmann is in a horrible position here. Szymanski smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.


Lehmann is rocked!
Szymanski postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Lehmann out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Szymanski goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
