Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Grant Brophy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and taff jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brophy comes to the cage accompanied by LL Cool J - Mama Said Knock You Out. taff jones will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
jones shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Brophy pinned against the cage. Brophy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
No joy there for Brophy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Brophy closes this distance looking for a takedown but jones circles away.
Brophy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
jones blocks a head kick by Brophy.
Brophy fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt jones.
Brophy keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Brophy fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but jones avoids it really well and circles away.
Some wild striking there from Brophy.
jones closes the distance and clinches up with Brophy, looking for a takedown. jones pushes Brophy against the cage but Brophy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Grant Brophy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of taff jones.

Brophy buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
jones scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Brophy throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Brophy takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and jones makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Brophy is breathing heavily.
jones shoots for a takedown but Brophy saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and jones counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
jones prevents Brophy from getting back to his feet.
Brophy keeping moving, preventing jones from controlling successfully.
jones has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Brophy is proving hard to escape from.

Brophy wants to stand but jones is controlling the position.

Brophy lands a big head kick that sends jones tumbling to the mat! Brophy takes a step backwards and waves jones back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Brophy throws a combination but it was largely blocked by jones.
